I found You – Lisa Jewell ✶✶✶✶✶

i found you.

‘How long have you been sitting out here?’.
‘I got here yesterday.’
‘Where did you come from?’.
‘I have no idea.’

East Yorkshire: Single mum Alice Lake finds a man on the beach outside her house. He has no name, no jacket, no idea what he is doing there. Against her better judgement she invites him in to her home.

Surrey: Twenty-one-year-old Lily Monrose has only been married for three weeks. When her new husband fails to come home from work one night she is left stranded in a new country where she knows no one. Then the police tell her that her husband never existed.

Thanks to TBC and Lisa for letting me read a copy of this story (ARC). This is the first story I have read by Lisa although I do have a few of hers waiting on my shelf and I must say I loved it! I devoured it. I could have easily finished it within a day but I didn’t want it to end, especially when it got down to the good part near the end.. This is a brilliant book which mixes a few genres together these being a little bit of chick-lit, romance, mystery and contemporary. Then towards the end suspense.. I haven’t read a book like this before. It’s packed full of drama, threats, deaths, love, families, friends, secrets and lies. What’s not to love? Do you think you can figure out the plot before all is revealed? Because I couldn’t. I loved this story and I cannot wait to read others by her. This is definitely going to be a big bestseller among readers! I would highly recommend this story to you all! The location was perfect, the characters (some) I fell in love with, some I hated! I love when a book has you hooked and this certainly held my attention throughout… Do you want to know who this mystery man is who cannot remember anything? The outcome may shock you a little. It’s a small world we live in is all I’m going to say. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Brilliant story! One I won’t forget soon.

I Found You will be released on the 14th of July 2016. Would highly recommend you check it out.
